May 2020 Ukulele News

Dear Ukulelian, I don't know about you, but the more music I play, the less stress has a hold on me. There are so many different kinds of unknowns that we each are facing. Be sure to carve a little time out to focus on something you love to keep your heart and soul strong and resilient. If that means giving your ukulele a workout, all the better! There are still spots available in Level 1 ukulele and harmonica classes. There are also many options for playing along with others (virtually, anyway), including the new Ukulele Clare YouTube channel. Be sure to scroll down for more uke events! The Ukulele Clare YouTube channel is up and has two whole videos up! I teamed up with Rebecca Padula to tape a short stack of ukulele favorites, complete with chords and lyrics. Remember - you can control how fast the video goes! When you are watching anything on YouTube, there's a little gear-shaped icon in the lower right of the video window. Click it and you can change the playback speed. Give it a try! Brush up on your skills or start again from scratch ... or learn to play the harmonica! There are still some spots left in Ukulele Clare group Zoom classes starting this week - $30 for a 4-week group class.
