Ukulele performances and Shenanigans

What's more fun than playing the ukulele? Playing with a pack of ukulelians! At Shenanigans and Ukulele Clare performances, all levels of ukulelians and singers are welcome. Shenanigans can happen anywhere: Farmers markets, libraries, private parties, music venues .... We usually play from the latest Shenanigan packet (updated regularly).   • CANCELLED Sunday, March 15 – The BIG St. Patrick's Day Ukulele Shenaniganat the Double E Lounge and Sound Garden Restaurant - Chords and lyrics will be projected on the big screen. We'll be drawing mainly from the Shenanigan Song Packet plus some fun Irish tunes. Bring your uke, bring a friend, or just come and sing along! Grab a pint of courage at the bar and stay after with us for a bite to eat a the Sound Garden restaurant.

  • CANCELLED Friday, March 13 – Rebecca Padula Duo at El Toro Mexican Restaurant. We'll be playing a delectable roster of old favorites and originals. Rebecca Padula on vocals, guitar, and banjo, Ukulele Clare Innes on ukuleles, dobro, and harmonica.

Great pub food, cold beverages, and a warm welcome.

  • CANCELLED Sunday, March 22 – Leadfoot Louise at Shelburne Sugarworks, where sap runs through a steaming contraption and comes out as maple syrup! If that's not miracle enough, Leadfoot Louise will help you shimmy out your sugar rush with some lively country, bluegrass, and blues tunes. Meanwhile, munch on some syrup-sweetened hot dogs, coffee, doughnuts, and ice cream!

  • Friday, August 28 – Rebecca Padula Trio at North Hero House. Sit outside by the lake and savor the sweet views, the lip-smackin' food, and tasty tunes from a wide variety of genres, so your old favorite will be in there somewhere! Blues, country, bluegrass, Tin Pan Alley, traditional fiddle tunes. A perfect way to savor the sunset.

  • Sunday, August 30 – Ukulele Mini-Shenanigan at ... whaaaaaat? half-way up Mt. Mansfield? Yep! We'll be cheering on the crazy runners and cyclists who are participating in the annual Race to the Top of Vermont  - more details to come!
    WHEN: tbd, but something like 8-ish a.m. - 11-ish a.m., plus post-race parties.

  • Leadfoot Louise is a slightly twisted Americana string band, drawing deeply from a variety of genres, including bluegrass, Tin Pan Alley, blues, Irish, rock, and pop. Lead singer Rebecca Padula takes the occasional turn on the uke, Ukulele Clare plays ukuleles, dobro, harmonica, spoons, and whatnot; and even Dan "The Fiddle Man" Wyman gets a turn on the uke.
